Yes, they should. While the College Sports Commission strongly encourages student-athletes to refrain from accepting payment until they have reported and cleared their deal, if a student-athlete has accepted compensation they are still required to report the deal, unless they executed it before June 7 2025, and will not receive additional compensation after June 30, 2025.
